I've FINISHED Twilight!!

Ok so it's been a few nights ago, but I loved the last few chapters. I was so excited when I got finished that I grabbed the next book and started reading it. My mom was just happy I got done, because she's been waiting for me to finish so that I could give her my copy. So, on to New Moon and Hawaii beaches!!!

some guilty pleasures...

So after spending most of the summer in Mesa at my parents, I came home addicted to some TV Shows. Thanks to Dad for getting me into America's Got Talent. This is one show I NEVER thought I'd watch, get online to vote and use my house and cell phone to vote for Donald Braswell and Nuttin but Strings. But I love some of those reality talent shows. I don't do American Idol, but thanks to my wonderful father who casually said to my mom one night, "hey why don't we leave this show on?..." I got hooked. Plus, we started In Plain Sight and Burn Notice on USA. I already loved Monk and Michael & I can't get enough of Psyche!!! We hate when the summer is over and our shows go away. But that just means that our regularly scheduled programs begin...bring on Heroes!!! Well enough for tonight, gotta go read "Twilight". Until next time. Same Bat time, same Bat channel. ( yes, I loved Batman as a little girl, I loved Robin more though.)

I just keep reading and reading!!!

I have fallen in love with the "Twilight" book. I only have 3 chapters left in this book and I keep picking it up to read but then the boys will need me and I have to stop. ONLY 3 chapters!!!! I don't want to have to stop reading so I'm waiting till tonight to finish!! Yea!!

Ammon loses his first tooth!

So, Ammon tells me on Thursday night that his bottom tooth is loose. He was pretty excited. This is his first tooth that has fallen out on his own. Which it did, Friday at school somewhere. We don't know where it ended up, but he was so upset about it when he got home that it took about an hour before I finally figured out what was wrong with him.
Once we realized that we had no tooth to put under his pillow I told him that we could just write the tooth fairy a letter and let her know what happened. That made him feel a whole lot better.
Now we could take some pictures of my happy boy who now would be getting something from the tooth fairy. Yeh Ammon. Now we just hope that this new one comes in soon and the upper ones start coming in too.

Michael goes to Hawaii

Michael HAD to go to Hawaii for his annual Manager's Field trip. In the past they've gone to Washington DC, Utah parks, the Grand Canyon to see different shops and accounts. He had a great time. It was a nice time getting to relax and spend time learning from the boss and other managers. He got to pre-plan our trip to Hawaii that we are taking in a couple of weeks!! Michael won a trip from his work when I was pregnant with Spencer so we've put it off until now that I can leave him.

Garrett goes to Preschool

I am so grateful that the good people of the school district decided that Garrett did indeed need preschool. He gets to go 3 mornings a week and best of all he gets to ride on one of the little buses!!! He did great yesterday on his first day. He wanted a Kung Fu Panda shirt and today he rode the bus to and from school. He looks so little when he's looking out the window waving goodbye to me, Talmage and Spencer. His teacher Ms. Haynes is from Britian and has a great accent. I told her I'd be waiting for the day that Garrett came home with an British accent. She said she wouldn't be surprised. This is going to be a really fun year for him. Right now his class is very small on 4 students, but we are all hoping for more as the months go by.

Daddy takes us on a picnic up the mountain

Michael had been promising Talmage all summer that he would take him hiking. So this weekend finally he did kinda. We drove up the very bumpy and rocky Mt. Elden Rd. until we found a clearing so we could stop and eat. Then we drove up some more to the top of Mt. Elden. Talmage was unhappy because we had said that he wouldn't be hiking because it was sprinkling, but then it stopped and they went up the mountain to the towers. They couldn't go up inside, but at least they got to get up there. Michael said Talmage ran up entire road to the top without being out of breath or anything. He and Ammon were a little out of breath. Garrett did great too. Spencer and I stayed in the suburban. We all got what we wanted. Talmage got to hike, Garrett got to be outside, Spencer got to walk around in some shoes, Ammon spent time with his Dad & Mom, Mom got new family pictures and Dad got to take his family on an outing all together.
